Meet one of our own
One of our franchisees is Esther Jacquet who opened her Caci in Rotorua in 2004.
The African-born Frenchwoman accompanied her civil engineer husband all over the world before coming to New Zealand and taking over a Rotorua bakery.
The couple built a small empire with three stores and a factory supplying baguettes all over New Zealand, but after working seven days a week for years, Esther felt ready for a change.
They sold the stores and she decided she wanted to do ‘something I really liked.’
"The changes that have been made in the last two years have been great... When I walk into my clinic I always feel good," says Esther.
"Although I hadn’t worked in the beauty industry I had always been for treatments once a month, so I understood what customers actually wanted. I knew there was nothing like Caci in Rotorua and I trusted that with training I could learn. The basis of all businesses is the same: employ skilled people, manage them well and deliver good results. I didn’t think twice!"
Six years later, Esther says her clinic is going from strength to strength and is still improving every year.
"Yes, it was hard work at the beginning but you learn, you improve, you grow. The Caci team has always been very supportive and the changes that have been made in the last two years have been fantastic. Our new Freedom™ hair removal programme has been very good for cashflow and profitability, the best thing yet!"
